Pinus mugo 'Ophir' este o varietate pitică a pinului de munte (Pinus mugo), apreciată pentru frunzișul său ornamental, care își schimbă culoarea în funcție de anotimp. Această plantă adaugă un efect vizual spectaculos în grădină, datorită transformării frunzelor sale de la verde la galben auriu în timpul iernii.
Caracteristici principale:
1. Dimensiune și formă:
- Înălțime la maturitate: Aproximativ 0,5 - 1 metru.
- Lățime: Aproximativ 0,8 - 1,2 metri, având o formă rotundă sau ușor aplatizată.
- Rata de creștere: Creștere lentă, cu o expansiune anuală de 5-10 cm.
2. Frunziș:
- Ace: Acele sunt scurte și rigide, de culoare verde vara, care devin galben-aurii în timpul iernii. Această schimbare de culoare sezonieră este caracteristica principală care face Pinus mugo 'Ophir' să iasă în evidență în grădini.
- Culoare:
- Primăvara și vara: Acele sunt de un verde proaspăt și intens.
- Toamna și iarna: Acele devin galben-aurii, oferind un efect decorativ în lunile reci.
3. Creștere și întreținere:
- Creștere compactă: Este o varietate pitică, cu o formă naturală densă și compactă, care nu necesită tăiere pentru modelare.
- Întreținere minimă: Datorită creșterii sale lente și a formei sale naturale, această varietate nu necesită întreținere frecventă.
4. Sol și expunere:
- Sol: Preferă solurile bine drenate, ușor acide până la neutre. Se adaptează și la solurile mai sărace, atâta timp cât drenajul este bun.
- Expunere: Crește cel mai bine în plin soare, unde culoarea galben-aurie a acelor va fi mai intensă. Toleranța la semiumbră este moderată, dar acest lucru poate reduce intensitatea culorii.
- Umiditate: Necesită udare moderată, dar este tolerantă la secetă odată ce s-a stabilit. Evitați udarea excesivă și solurile cu drenaj slab.
5. Toleranță la condiții de mediu:
- Rezistență la frig: Este foarte rezistentă la temperaturi scăzute, fiind potrivită pentru zonele de climă temperată și rece (zonele 2-7 USDA).
- Toleranță la secetă: Odată stabilită, este destul de tolerantă la secetă și condiții de mediu mai aspre, datorită originii sale montane.
- Toleranță la vânt: Este bine adaptată la condiții de vânt și expunere în zone deschise.
6. Întreținere:
- Irigare: În primii ani după plantare, necesită udare regulată, dar odată stabilită, poate tolera perioade scurte de secetă.
- Fertilizare: Poate beneficia de o fertilizare ușoară primăvara, pentru a susține o creștere sănătoasă.
- Tăiere: Nu necesită tăiere pentru formă, dar ramurile uscate sau deteriorate pot fi îndepărtate.
7. Boli și dăunători:
- Pinus mugo este, în general, rezistent la boli și dăunători, dar poate fi afectat ocazional de acarieni sau alte insecte dăunătoare. Monitorizați periodic planta pentru a detecta problemele devreme.
- Drenajul bun al solului este important pentru a preveni apariția putregaiului rădăcinilor sau a altor boli fungice.
Utilizare în peisagistică:
- Grădini mici: Dimensiunea sa compactă și creșterea lentă fac Pinus mugo 'Ophir' ideal pentru grădinile mici, rocării sau terase.
- Rocării: Este perfectă pentru rocării și grădini alpine, unde poate adăuga o notă de culoare în timpul iernii.
- Planta solitară: Este o plantă excelentă pentru a fi folosită ca punct focal într-o grădină, datorită schimbării sezoniere a culorii frunzelor.
- Containere: Poate fi cultivată în ghivece mari sau containere pe terase sau balcoane.

In order to return products from the categories mentioned above, purchased through the website, they must meet certain conditions:
- to be returned in the original packaging together with all the accessories originally delivered;
- to be in the same condition in which they were received, new, unused;
- not to be damaged and not to present aesthetic or functional deficiencies;
- to be sent to the address on our "Contact" page, without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum of 30 days from the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal.
If the products do not comply with these conditions, they cannot be returned.
Products from the categories: Ornamental trees, Ornamental shrubs, Conifers, Hedges, Grasses, Topiary/Forms and Perennial plants CANNOT be returned, according to art. 16 par. 4 of the Government's Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014.
