Prunus avium (Cherry) is a fruit tree with deciduous leaves, whose fruits we enjoy especially when eaten freshly picked. It is not easy to predict the size at maturity as it depends a lot on the habit, cutting and variety. They generally develop fairly quickly into large, straight-trunked trees with unique, shiny, chestnut-colored bark that peels off in strips. The leaves are oval, with jagged edges, up to 15 cm long, dark green and tend to turn yellow or orange in autumn. They have a spectacular bloom, in countless bunches of simple white flowers that open in April, before the leaves appear. The fruits, appreciated since the Bronze Age, are drupe type and appear on long stems. They must be picked when ripe because they do not ripen later. In addition to fresh consumption, they are often used for canning and the food industry. It adapts well to warm-temperate and cold-temperate climates throughout Europe. The most favorable soils are medium-compact, even weak, they can be loamy as long as they are well drained. Planting should be done in areas with full sun, sheltered from areas with frequent violent rains.

Please note that you will lose the right of return if you do not declare the withdrawal of the purchase within 14 days of receiving the ordered products. This request must be sent by e-mail to the address on our "Contact" page.
In accordance with GEO 34/2014 regarding consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals, you can return the order at any time, without reason, within 14 working days of delivery. The cancellation period, in relation to the supply of goods, is calculated from the day following the one in which the goods enter the physical possession of the consumer. During this period of time, you can return the products for any reason.
You or the recipient must inform us of the withdrawal decision in writing by e-mail to the address on our "Contact" page, within 14 working days of delivery.
In order to return products from the categories mentioned above, purchased through the website, they must meet certain conditions:
- to be returned in the original packaging together with all the accessories originally delivered;
- to be in the same condition in which they were received, new, unused;
- not to be damaged and not to present aesthetic or functional deficiencies;
- to be sent to the address on our "Contact" page, without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum of 30 days from the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal.
If the products do not comply with these conditions, they cannot be returned.
Products from the categories: Ornamental trees, Ornamental shrubs, Conifers, Hedges, Grasses, Topiary/Forms and Perennial plants CANNOT be returned, according to art. 16 par. 4 of the Government's Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014.
Please note that you will be responsible for any shipping costs incurred as a result of returning the products to BALKAN PARTNER SRL and you should ensure that you obtain proof of shipping of the products.
The reimbursement of the value of the products can be offered only for the products in our possession, at the address on our "Contact" page, under the conditions specified above.
All amounts related to the returned products are reimbursed by bank transfer to the account of the card from which the payment was made.
