Yew 1.30 - 1.40 m Taxus baccata

Yew 1.30 - 1.40 m Taxus baccata

Taxus baccata (Tisa) is a conifer native to Europe and North Africa to Iran. The main branches are horizontal and the secondary ones are short and pendulous. If allowed to grow freely and given enough space, it will become a wide conical tree with horizontal, spreading branches. The male cones are yellow in spring, followed by beautiful red fruits. Grows well in fertile, well-drained soil, including calcareous and acidic soil. It also withstands planting in the shade of old trees. Very used for hedges because it tolerates severe, repeated cutting and for this reason this plant is also used to create geometric shapes and large bonsai. Thuja Smaragd 0.80 - 1.00 m Thuja Occidentalis Smaragd

Thuja (Thuia) is part of the Cupressaceae family. They are evergreen trees, but there are many smaller varieties, usually in the form of bushes. These species are differentiated according to the size, color or shape of the leaves. It usually resembles Chamaecyparis (False Cypress), but the cones are shaped like rosebuds. The branches of the plants are generally flattened, arranged in a horizontal plane. The leaves are scaly and light green to golden in color, becoming darker with age. Thuja tolerates thick but not massive cuts. Prefers sunny or semi-shaded places. It is more durable than the False Cypress and can withstand cold drafts better. It adapts well to all types of soil, but does not tolerate areas with dry air. Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd' (Thuia 'Smaragd') is a conifer with a perfectly conical shape and very dense, without gaps in the crown. The leaves have an emerald green color, typical of this species, making it one of the most popular. The color remains unchanged even in winter. Tuia Brabant" 1.20 - 1.40 m Tuia occidentalis "Brabant"

Thuja belongs to the Cupressaceae family. Thuja occidentalis 'Brabant' (Tuia 'Brabant') is a conifer with a perfectly pyramidal shape. The leaves are light green in color and remain unchanged throughout the year. It grows well in calcareous soils but also adapts to acidic ones. Tuia plicata "Atrovirens" 1.20 - 1.50 m / Thuja plicata "Atrovirens" / gradina-noastra

Tuia plicata "Atrovirens" 1.20 - 1.50 m / Thuja plicata "Atrovirens" /

Ramurile plantelor sunt in general turtite, dispuse in plan orizontal. Tuia placata Atrovirens" 1.20 - 1.50 m Thuja placata "Atrovirens"

Thuja belongs to the Cupressaceae family. Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens' (Tuia plicata 'Atrovirens') is a conifer native to the United States of America, with a pyramidal shape. In the first years of growth, the main and secondary branches are dense and erect, over time they retain their conical shape, but become soft. The foliage is deep green, bright even in winter. It grows well in all types of soil, even calcareous, and tolerates repeated severe cutting. It is a variety very often used for hedges. Yucca rostrata 0.60 - 1.00 m / Yucca rostrata/

Yucca rostrata 0.60 - 1.00 m / Yucca rostrata/
